Tender Participation/Guidelines

Tender participation is open to all foreign companies [participating either individually or in a group (consortium). All goods supplied under this contract must be of good quality.

The Board does not publish INVITATION TO TENDER on our website Since we work with accredited brokers. This is inline with the law that established the commission. However, a tender document is available for all bids and may be secured through our accredited brokers upon payment of tender document fees which may not be less than 600 US Dollars, depending on the product to be supplied.

ACCREDITED AGENTS:

Participating companies must have a local agent(broker) as part of her representatives. The local agent shall source and contact suppliers and provide them with all relevant information regarding the tender.

Number of  Bids: Participating companies may submit only one tender per lot. in cases where various items is needed, tenderer maybe allowed to supply more than one bid

Performance Bond: The successful bidder shall provide a performance guarantee in writing immediately after signing the contract at the Ministry of Justice. This guarantee must be provided together with the return of the counter signed contract not later than 5 days after the tenderer receives the contract by the Contracting Authority. If the selected tenderer fails to provide such a guarantee within this period, the contract will be void and may be cancelled and re awarded to a rival firm.
