British-West Africa Development Initiative was established by the Public Procurement Act, 2011 (Act 112) as a procurement body responsible for the effective procurement of materials for the member states . The Authority seeks to ensure fairness, transparency and non-discrimination in public procurement in order to promote a competitive atmosphere for local and foreign suppliers.The commission is made up of 15 member countries of Togo, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, Benin, Republic,cote de vouir, burkina faso.

MISSION

To ensure that due process is applied and honored in all procurement,while Harmonizing existing government policies and practices on public procurement and ensure probity, accountability and transparency in the procurement process

VISION

To make sure that goods and services of the highest quality is delivered without compromise, by applying competitiveness, cost effectiveness and professionalism in the public sector procurement system.

OBJECTIVES

(a)Promote within the framework of Government policy, the efficient or where applicable profitable operations of the government and bidders.

(b)Ensure that participating companies adhere to good corporate government guidelines.

(c) To ensure that product quality is not compromised.
